Buzzluck Casino has undergone an interesting transformation after some disastrous beginnings. One of many casinos to launch and subsequently shut down in an ultra-competitive industry, it was eventually sold to Club World Casinos. Buzzluck Casino recently reopened with a new software known as NuWorks, and many are interested to see how the casino fares. Does it operate smoothly, or does this new brand of casino need time to get the kinks ironed out?
Software and Games
Buzzluck Casino is running a brand new software suite called NuWorks. NuWorks is affiliated with Real Time Gaming, and the similarities between the two software suites is noticeable to anybody who has played RTG in the past; and that is not necessarily a bad thing.
Buzzluck Casino features 30 slot games, 4 table games, and 3 different forms of video poker. Granted, this selection of games is tiny in comparison to the many other casinos on the block, but with the casino being open for less than a week, we are willing to overlook this issue for the time being.
Games in the Buzzluck library were bright and colourful. Slot games had great animations and kept me spinning. My personal favorite was Monster Millions, a progressive video slot that has a very Monsters, Inc. feel to it. Everything loaded and played smoothly. As someone who is tough to please when it comes to appreciating slot machines, I was very impressed with this category of games and will find myself going back to play again.
My only gripe with the games are the casino table selection. These look and feel like they are RTG games with no difference in wagering or the way that the game is played. While the argument can be made that all casino games play alike, they really don’t. Things like animation, sound, and overall experience do matter when you are playing online, and I just wasn’t impressed by what I saw at the table. While there is technically nothing wrong with the games (they played fine), I just wish NuWorks would have thrown some innovation their way.
Banking and Security
The cashier function of Buzzluck Casino is instantly familiar if you have ever played at an RTG casino. This is something I actually do not mind, as I would rather see a stable banking platform than innovation (in this feature at least). There are 8 different ways for players to deposit at Buzzluck, with Credit Card, MyPayLinq, EZ Voucher and Wire transfer being some of the ways to put money in. Withdrawals can be performed via Check, Wire transfer, ECO, InstaDebit, Moneybookers, MoneyLineWallet, MyPayLinq, Neteller, OnDemand Funds, and Overnight Express.
I was a bit disappointed to see a high $350 minimum withdrawal from the casino for some of the withdrawal options such as check and bank wires. While I understand that some of the money wallets have lower minimums for withdrawal, many American players that Buzzluck will appeal to do not have access to these payment methods.
Customer service at Buzzluck Casino is fast and efficient, just as we have seen at other Club World Group casinos. The casino offers 24/7 phone support, instant message support or email assistance. Answers to questions are replied to very quickly, and issues are resolved fairly. One thing we like with this group of casinos is that as soon as you make your first deposit, support will contact you with a greeting and encourage you to pre-verify your ID documents so that they don’t slow you down when it comes time to make your first withdrawal.
